Releasing Paragraph (soon)
Notion has recently been pushing more updates last week than how many times I've posted last month. That aside, Notion is also close sourced and does not include an opt-out for their AI features. Obsidian's graph view instantly caught my attention, but they're also not open sourced and their Bases feature isn't capable enough to translate my databases over. Anytype is a nice middle ground but they lack the expressive metadata options that Notion provides.
As it turns out, I actually am a computer scientist with decent technical experience. As an act of reclaiming ownership of my data, sharing my productivity system to the masses, and exercising my engineering bone, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I am happy to announce that I am currently working on Paragraph, inspired by my current Notion workspace, the PARA Method by Tiago Forte, and Obsidian's graph view (please don't sue me, all 3 of you).
Paragraph will be first released on Windows (FOSS) and Web (paid), hopefully by the end of July 2026. There will be future plans for MacOS and Linux releases.
The best thing? It's fully human written, baby! Why would I do this? I'm told I'm depriving innocent babies in Ghana from a bright career in data annotation for scraps. But really, I do so because I can! For free! With all of the excitement for database modelling and CMake errors! For free!

Releasing my Kofi and services
Thanks to my scholarship scheme, I don't have to worry about my tuition fee or housing costs, yippi! It's also been 6 years of struggle with this war machine, and he needs to retire already. If you care about seeing more releases like Paragraph or blogs, do support me on Kofi!
I am offering one-on-one sessions for 2 hours on anything ranging from setting up your own systems, resume writing, research advice, explaining how the FFT is not (yet) learnable on modern neural networks. You don’t actually have to pay, but if you did take away something useful from it, then you can decide how much you wanna pay.
tldr
Notion sucks, and I have free will, so I’m working on Paragraph for Windows and Web. I’m also releasing my Kofi for one-on-one sessions again.
